This role involves cleaning production areas, equipment, and common spaces to ensure a safe, hygienic, and efficient work environment. The custodian will adhere to all safety and quality standards, manage waste disposal, and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate team members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms duties safely.Clean, sweep, organize production, office and general areas within the manufacturing facility.Dispose of waste materials generated during manufacturing processes in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other consumables necessary for custodial duties.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to cleanliness and sanitation.Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, and maintenance tasks performed, and report any deviations or issues to appropriate personnel.Collaborate with production staff, maintenance technicians, and other stakeholders to address cleanliness-related concerns and support overall operational efficiency.Performs other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical safety protocols.
