POSITION OVERVIEW

The AVP of Global Public Affairs is a critical role that will lead the development and implementation of RCG's public affairs strategies on a global scale. As a key leader in RCG's Corporate Affairs team, this position is responsible for protecting and enhancing the company's reputation in the context of a complex and evolving regulatory and political landscape. This position will report directly to the SVP, Head of Corporate Affairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and lead the execution of public affairs strategy at the global/federal/state levels using campaign-style approach, including research, polling, message development, digital targeting, and content creation. Manage grassroots and grass tops issue advocacy campaigns to enhance corporate reputation and advance public policy agenda. Build coalitions and manage relationships with third-party groups. Manage global and regional public affairs firms and ensure execution of strategy. Work cross functionally with Government Relations, Community Engagement, Destination Development, ESG and Communications teams Assess evolving political and regulatory landscapes to mitigate risk and inform public affairs strategy. Maintain strong external relationships across prioritized geographic regions working closely with internal stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in political science, international relations, communications, or related field strongly preferred. Minimum 15 years of experience in Public Affairs, Public Policy, Campaign Management, or related field Outstanding track record of success in a large and complex global organization. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills [written and verbal]; exceptional interpersonal skills to influence internal and external relationship building and must exude credibility as a corporate representative. Outstanding English language proficiency. Availability to travel up to 25% of the time and flexibility to support unexpected business events outside of the regular business hours including holidays and weekends

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Articulate, with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build internal relationships with, and influence the decision-making of, senior-level corporate executives. Experienced in understanding business principles and the complexities of a large, global corporation. Experience leading a team and managing external consultants
