Petroleum Service Corporation (PSC) has an exciting new opportunity for you to join our Sustainability team in Houston, TX. We are now hiring a Class A CDL driver to transport plastic product in dry vans and grain trailers at various industrial / chemical plant locations in TX and LA. This is a full-time, essential position that allows you to be home at the end of each day. As we launch this new business, PSC is a partner of the Plastics Industry Associations Operation Clean Sweep program. We are now providing sustainability and recycling programs to help plastic resin manufacturers protect the environment by reducing and eliminating pellet, flake and powder loss.

**Work Schedule:** 8-12 Hour Shifts (Possible on-call as needed)

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Safely delivers freight in dry vans and grain trailers at various industrial locations in TX and LA

* Plans the most efficient routes and delivering freight on time

* Performs truck and trailer inspections before departure to ensure good running order and immediately report deficiencies to supervisor

* Properly completes company work orders by capturing all necessary dates, times, and signatures

* Makes sure all necessary paperwork is received to haul load BOL, weight tickets

* Secures the freight in place before departure and monitoring it is safe distribution throughout the trip

* Safely drives vehicle on customer property, public roads by obeying all traffic and safety laws

* Works inside plants following specific safety procedures

* Attends regular safety meetings, training and other classes assigned by supervisor

* Reports any delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to management

* Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job

**Job Qualifications:**

* Must possess a Valid Class A CDL Driver's License & TWIC Card

* Must be able to pass DOT Physical & Hair Follicle drug screen

* 2 or more years' driving experience with an incident free driving record

* 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

* Stable work history with good references from past employers

* Pass a background check

* Speak fluent English

* PSC is a veteran friendly. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

**Physical Requirements:**

You must be able to:

* Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision

* Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required

* Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold

* Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE

* Lift 60 pounds floor to waist

* Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally

* Carry 20 pounds while walking

* Climb stairs and ladders

* Stand 8-12 hours per day

* Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
