Work Schedule:

3 days in office, 2 days remote

Salary:

Direct Report:

Head of Professional Development

Responsibilities:

Work with associates from the Litigation and Transactional practices to identify professional development opportunities.

Learn and stay up to date with attorney practice areas and keep monitor changes within each practice.

Manage and analyze utilization reports.

Oversee associate development and performance.

Monitor associate workload with a view to ensuring equity and proper work levels, tracking billable, non-billable and pro bono hours.

Assist partners and the Human Resources team with the associate feedback process by gathering and organizing feedback and guidance on associate performance.

Document feedback as directed, elevating issues to the Head of Professional Development – Americas as needed.

Oversee associate development and performance.

Monitor the Career Development Mentor program for two offices.

Manage the staffing database on a weekly basis to facilitate the monitoring of associate work levels.

Qualifications

3-5 years of professional development/human resources experience in a professional services organization; law firm experience preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office (highly proficient in Excel)

Ability to travel to as needed.
