  • Geologic and Topographic Mapping and Aerial Research
  • Laboratory and In Situ Testing of Soil and Rock
  • Field Classifications of Soil and Rock
  • Construction Inspection of Earthwork
  • Construction Inspection of Drilled Shafts
  • Construction Inspection Report Writing
  • Proofroll and Compaction Testing of Soils
  • Stability Modeling
  • Foundation Design
  • Slope Stabilization Design
  • Landslide Hazard Recognition and Mapping
  • Development of Soil and Rock Design Parameters
  • Embankment Keyway and Bench inspection
This opportunity requires:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering (Geotechnical focus)
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience
License/Certification
  • Engineer-In-Training certification; willing to work toward Professional Engineer license

Total Compensation Range for Geotechnical Engineer Position: $55k-$90k
