**Job Description**

**Job Summary**

Starting wage is $14.50/hr + benefits fast advancement opportunities.

Operates forklift machinery to lift, load, or move material as directed.

**Principle Responsibilities**

* Performs daily safety inspection of forklift before operating to ensure safety.

* Takes proper safety and precautionary measures when operating machinery.

* Supports essential logistic operations through storage and transportation.

* Notifies technicians in advance when forklifts are in need of service.

* Comply with all company safety guidelines and procedures.

* Maintain a clean work environment.

**Qualifications**

**Competencies**

* Clean driving record

* Manual dexterity

* Diligent use of personal protective equipment

**Education/Experience:**

* Performs work under direct supervision with a basic understanding of equipment.

* Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

* Typically requires a high school diploma, fork lift certificate, and 0 to 2 years of experience.
