I. Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:
Position Summary: Responsible for a variety of secretarial duties, data entry and clinical site rotation coordination.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
- One to three years of secretarial experience required. one or more years of post-high school secretarial science desired.
- Completion of a secretarial science course preferred.
- Proficient with the computer and business related software programs (Including Microsoft Office)
Data Management
- Organizes and maintains data entry in the NDNQI database.
- Organizes and maintains licensure, certifications, National affiliations, CAP levels in the Nursing database.
- Creates, modifies and assigns learning assignments in Healthstream
- Maintains the assigned policy manuals online by adding, deleting and modifying policies as directed
- Works collaboratively with Nursing Admin Directors and nursing staff to ensure data is received and entered in a timely manner.
- Provides reports as requested
- Assures all paperwork is collected and forwarded to Clinical Affairs or completed online
- Arranges orientation of students each year. Assures that the student is aware of all hospital expectations.
- Schedules all clinical rotations at the site
- Facilitate all new faculty appointments by requiring and obtaining the required paperwork for faculty appointment and forwarding those documents to the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs
- Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for on-site faculty and students in regards to schedules. The coordinator must complete or assist with the completion of the preceptor contracts and invoices for payment.
- Find an appropriate physician substitute should a faculty member have an emergency and cannot provide the clinical rotation
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, calendar's, schedules, etc. as directed by DSME and Director so Clinical Rotations.
