SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager controls the flow of incoming and outgoing equipment to internal and external customers while achieving cost, schedule and quality objectives. This position is responsible for tactical planning and coordination of inventories and distribution operations using knowledge of six sigma, lean methodology, supply chain strategy and warehouse distribution science.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Plan, schedule, prioritize, allocate, assign and regulate shipments to meet specific project requirements

* Audit and provide regular analysis of all equipment inventory levels, turns and aging

* Establish practices and protocols for warehouse process improvement, procedure documentation and EH&S monitoring

* Support overhaul efforts of the companys supply chain for:

+ Quicker and more efficient purchasing process

+ Real time inventory management and controls

- Update ERP with inventory records (warehouse & sites)

- Maintain logs of receipts and shipments to/from warehouses

- Report inventory movement between warehouses and projects

- Communication and handling of damaged & excess inventory

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented, and a team player. Key qualifications as follows:

* High School degree/GED required. Bachelors degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering or other relevant field preferred

* 4-5 years of warehouse experience

* Analytical and reporting capabilities

* Thrive in a fast-paced environment and seek consistent improvements

* Understand relationships are key and have strong interpersonal skills

* Drivers license and forklift certification

* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time visiting warehouses, jobsites, and suppliers locally
