Position

The marketing administrative assistant position supports the founder and managing partner in a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to: research, marketing, sales, customer service and general administrative tasks, such as managing email and calendar. To excel in this role, the individual must be technically savvy, be a fast learner, have strong communication skills and outstanding attention to detail.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the hardware tech industry, working with executives in the field. Hardware Velocity is a small and ambitious team, you will be joining on the ground floor. This role is primarily remote there will be at least one meeting in person per month in NYC or NJ.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with digital marketing, using AI, SEO, content marketing (linkedin), website design (using website builders like squarespace), logo design, and graphic design (using platforms such as Fivver, or design on your own)
  • Gather and perform research on prospective clients and partnership opportunities
  • Find speaking engagement and networking event opportunities for the founder
  • Scheduling meetings, helping the founder to manage inbox and calendar
  • Process development and improvement
  • Booking travel and accommodations

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience
  • Tech savvy - Google suite of products, AI familiarity (e.g. ChatGPT) especially for content writing, conferencing tools, etc.
  • Commuting distance to NYC
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for learning, creative and energetic
