Senior Human Resources Business Partner

This role will be a key specialist partner to a well-known, client-facing, specialty business with a strong industry reputation. You will be a key partner in supporting and influencing our team through our exciting tech transformation achieving our ambitious goals, a player/coach who is proactive and forward-thinking, and your approach will be strategic and valuable to the organization's success.

You will be an Engle Martin brand ambassador who capitalizes on our momentum and identifies opportunities for our growth and success to accelerate. In all aspects of your role, you will promote our Our Foundation, which guides us to serve with passion, and our culture of care.

Responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
  • Strategic HR leadership and expert guidance to assigned client groups, along with consultation and delivery of HR programs and services to achieve key commercial objectives.
  • Proactively defines, builds and implements value-added HR strategies and solutions.
  • Advises leaders in solving complex issues related to organization design, development, and change management.
  • Establishes strategies and tactics to enable the business to attract, develop, and retain high-quality talent at all levels to support the growth objectives, opportunities, and strategies of the business.
  • Leads the strategic workforce planning efforts to ensure the people and talent strategy is in alignment with the organization's long range strategic plan (identification of long-term capability needs, talent acquisition and succession planning).
  • Builds impactful partnerships with the P&C COE functions to provide HR solutions to key business needs and to roll out corporate-wide programs that enhance the overall employee experience and support growth and success of overall business strategy.
  • Provides insights in a simple, creative, and relevant way that challenges current thinking, communicates business decisions, and shows how decisions impact business outcomes. Builds consensus and alignment around a topic and persuades others to take action.
  • Works with leaders to implement and manage key HR processes, such as the year-end performance management process (performance assessment, calibration, and compensation planning).
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition (TA) to ensure TA strategy is in place to deliver on key capability and workforce builds, with a specific focus on diverse talent.
  • Leverages complex data and people analytics to provide critical insights into business and talent trends that inform our overall HR priorities.
Candidate Profile - Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
  • 8-10 years HR experience in a business-facing role
  • Demonstrate fundamental cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to guide or direct others through action or influence
  • Talent management and organizational development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management and communication processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
  • Initiative and drive to continuously improve processes and systems
  • Proven ability to work effectively in teams and with individuals at all levels within our organization; understanding of cultural contexts in a remote work environment
  • Experience managing several tasks and priorities and exercise independent working; a self-starter.
  • Working understanding of state, federal and regional labor laws and practices
