- The Assistant Principal is an instructional and operational leader within the school community that is critical to improving student outcomes through leadership effectiveness. In collaboration with and aligned to the direction of the Principal, the Assistant Principal supports the creation of a culture of high expectations, hard work, accountability, celebration of progress, and fun for staff, students, and families at Futurus High School. In alignment with the district strategic plan and the Principal’s direction, the Assistant Principal supports and leads the school team to increase school and student outcomes through ongoing training, coaching, feedback, and support by prioritizing instruction while effectively balancing operational, safety, and policy responsibilities, as assigned. Director of STEM and Academies

(DOSA)– The Director of STEM and Academies works closely with the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, secondary administrators, Career and Technical Education Director, and staff to improve Math and Science instruction and student learning in grades 7-12. The DOSA designs and implements a high school energy academy and creates long-term plans to adopt materials and improve instructional effectiveness in Math and Science at the secondary level. The DOSA is an instructional leader who will develop long-term plans for instructional improvement. Additionally, this position will lead AVID implementation at the middle and high school levels, focusing on alignment across the district and significantly increased post-secondary outcomes. Principal (.5 FTE) $67,488 to $74,494 plus 5% responsibility Stipend Director of STEM & Academies (.5 FTE) $61,555 to $67,945 plus 2 additional days Salaries shown are for the 23-24 school year. Benefits: Fifteen (15) days of vacation, fifteen (15) paid holidays for the Assistant Principal and twelve (12) paid holidays for the director, twelve sick leave days, and three personal leave days; health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance; State retirement; other fringe benefits as allowed under the Principal agreement.
