Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions and monthly close; perform monthly close duties, including general journal entries, reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, and preparation of GAAP financial statements* Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial statements and related management reporting, including variance explanations in the income statement and balance sheet* Support teams across the business including external/internal audit, tax, finance, procurement, human resources, legal, and operations* Identify opportunities to automate current manual processes and improve utilization of technology and systems to create efficiencies within the accounting department* Other duties and responsibilities as necessary
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor and/or master's degree(s) in accounting* 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in growth companies* CPA, or equivalent qualification a plus
Qualifications:
* Inherent curiosity and eagerness to learn complex and ever-evolving businesses* Experience creating and implementing new accounting guidance and corresponding process development* Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and time management, analytical and problem-solving skills* Self-motivated, able to problem solve creatively and meet expanding business needs as circumstances require* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team setting in an often pivoting work environment and with effective cross-functional management skills* Excellent interpersonal skills, great team player, attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement* Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Oracle a plus
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
