**What We Accomplish Together**

If you enjoy displaying your exceptional customer service skills while interacting with a wide variety of guests daily, the Group Rooms & Sales Coordinator position is the job for you. The Group Rooms & Sales Coordinator plays a very important role in the overall functions of the Edgewater. The ideal candidate will work well in a high-pressure environment and will collaborate well with different departments. As a member of the Sales Department, this position is responsible for all room reservations aspects for group bookings and will be monitoring and managing group room blocks with the goal of providing superior guest service - while maximizing room revenues and hotel occupancy. You will work directly with the Rooms and Sales Departments handling group bookings along with executing the turnover process, maintaining files, tracing cut-off dates, and following up on special instructions. The Edgewater demands the highest quality of customer service, and the Group Rooms & Sales Coordinator reflects that as you are often times the first person a guest speaks with at The Edgewater. The Group Rooms & Sales Coordinator position is where your hard work ethic and exceptional customer service skills are appreciated and recognized by both the guests and The Edgewater Team.

* Previous guest service experience. Experience in a hotel Front Desk, Reservations or Sales department is preferred.

* Experience using hotel/resort property management or reservation software.

This position operates in a professional office environment. The role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
