About the team and what we'll build together

Kobie Marketing is seeking a skilled HTML Developer to join our dynamic team. As an HTML Developer, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining high-quality, responsive web applications and interfaces for our clients. You will collaborate with our design and development teams to implement designs and ensure the best user experience across various platforms.

How you will make an impact
  • Help drive efficiency by guiding the account on the creative UX strategy for CRM (Customer Relationship Management), ensuring that email campaigns align with overall business objectives and contribute to enhanced customer engagement and retention.
  • Support and help guide the creative direction and execution of emails, working closely with marketing teams to brainstorm innovative ideas and concepts.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate creative concepts into HTML email templates that effectively convey brand messaging and aesthetics.
  • Provide expertise and recommendations on email design best practices, layout, and content placement to optimize user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Offer support and guidance to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all email communications.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand target audience demographics and preferences, tailoring email designs and content to maximize relevance and impact.
  • Work with the QA team to conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to ensure emails render correctly.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in email design and user experience, staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the email marketing space.
  • Implement best practices for email marketing, including A/B testing, responsive design, and email deliverability optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective email designs that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate with compliance team with email marketing regulations and standards, such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
  • Involvement with analyzing email performance metrics and user feedback to iterate on email designs and improve overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in email design and user experience to continuously enhance email marketing strategies.
What you need to be successful
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years experience designing and executing error free email marketing campaign.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Must have prior experience delivering on time and error-free emails, demonstrating a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AMPscript a plus.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
  • Knowledge of server-side programming languages like PHP, Python, or Node.js is beneficial.
