Role Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will have an opportunity to exceed assigned pipeline and profit objectives, lead new business initiatives and processes, and work closely with Sales and the Leadership Team in developing overall sales strategies within facilities' service offerings. Successful Sales Leaders in this role will have the opportunity to advance quickly.

Responsibilities
• Strategically identify key customer targets to grow sales and meet overall sales goals across all channels.
• Developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation opportunities.
• Informs and optimizes organizational decision-making, operational execution, and resource allocation based on data and sound reasoning.
• Knowledge using GGuite, Slack, Zoom, Hubspot (CRM) and various sales and marketing products.
• Drive sales process leadership from contact through strategy, proposal, presentation & successful conclusion for software consultation and development services within a defined territory.
• Will be responsible for developing relationships with/selling to clients.
• Aggressively research, identify, qualify & target potential clients & develop access strategy to initiate contact.
• Develop & maintain relationships at the 'C Suite' while understanding and communicating prospective customers' campus culture.
• Exercise creativity and judgment in developing and evaluating sales and marketing strategies in selling software consultation and development services.
• Develop and lead strategy process with regard to: Competitive Environment, Account Sales Strategy & Development Strategy.
• Identify needs and develop customer specific solutions for those needs.
• Utilize resources from across Aramark in order to design & deliver customer desired outcomes.
• Influence and develop team members without formal authority.
• Develop relationships with intermediaries to build pipeline of opportunities and awareness of capabilities.
• Represent Exquisite Software in the marketplace at various industry organizations and events.
• Build relationships personally with prospective customers.
• Provide appropriate market & competitive information.
• Manage and developing a business development team.
• Create any documentation and processes for the business development team.
• Ensure that the business development team is meeting goals.

Requirements
• Ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service and Operations teams to effectively produce results.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to understand financial data, margins, ROI and apply it for closing deals.
• Experience in establishing sales territories and network of independent sales.
• Enterprise and Industry knowledge required, specifically in companies that build devices, technology companies, or utilize software on a daily basis.
• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
• Ability to prospect and cold call and experience in a start up environment.
• Minimum 5 years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment
