What you will be doing

The Operations Analyst, Own Brands is responsible for tactical execution and planning to support key initiatives, and ordering and fulfillment of Own Brands, across all of Albertsons Companies Divisions.

The position will be based in Pleasanton CA, or one of our main regional offices.

Main responsibilities
  • Conducts audits and maintains Own Brands SKU integrity across multiple company systems, collaboration sites, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Review, correct and approve for processing all Own Brand new item setups, as well as division maintenance and warehouse adds across all category desks. Includes entry into PI system where required.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Governance to gain insight, solve issues and ensure strict company standards are applied to Own Brands. Facilitate best practice sharing across Operations buying team.
  • Leads new vendor and item set up processes by working closely with Vendors, Divisions, Product Managers and Sourcing to collect and finalize contracts, and communicate status to key stakeholders critical to establishing a date for shipment of products to the warehouses.
  • Collect and process NOPA information into DemandTec on behalf of Own Brand suppliers.
  • Work with Operations Manager to resolve warehousing, procurement and retail scan issues.
  • Reviews and resolves cost issues in all divisions and across various systems. Proactively ensures compliance and communicates directly with Sourcing, Vendors and Divisions as needed.
  • Run ad hoc reports and queries as requested for Operations management.
  • Works closely with the Operations Manager to make recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and to streamline functions.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects supporting company initiatives ensuring deliverables are executed on time and with excellence.
  • Key point of contact and Own Brands expert for supplier item attribute maintenance, reporting and problem resolution to ensure buyers are creating efficient PO's.
The salary range is $54,600 to $71,040 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Of, paid holidays (9days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401K eligibility)

What we are searching for
  • 4 Year Degree or 4-6 years relevant experience in ideally 1 or more of the following areas: Operations, Product Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing
  • Computer aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems. Prior experience working in SSIMS preferred
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency, intensity and integrity
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Proven ability to make solid and quick business decisions
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to maintain business relationships within and outside of the company
  • Effective planning, organizing and time management skills
