Our diverse team of over 700 employees is "Passionate About People" as we support our community, specifically those whose lives have been affected by a mental illness or substance use.WHAT WE DOThe Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides acute stabilization through intensive individual and group therapy with a treatment team approach utilizing various therapy techniques. In this program, the team-centric approach helps each individual client on a short term basis, typically 1-3 weeks in length in an outpatient day treatment setup.At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:Maintain and interact with a caseload of clients with diverse characteristics either in-person or over the phone.Conduct high quality clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in a timely manner.Identify and provide clinical interventions and referrals for clients based on their needs.Empower clients to develop and nurture the knowledge, skills, and support systems crucial to promoting optimal functioning in the community.Continually assess clients for lack of progress, progress, or emergent needs and address those needs clinically.Conduct individual, group education, and group therapies for clients in our Adolescent IOP program.Engage difficult-to-serve clients by investigating all potential resources in order to gain access and make connections.Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover's designated electronic medical record.Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care.We are focused on your development and will spend time helping you continue to grow as a Mental Health Clinician. However, here are some things that you will need prior to starting with ReDiscover:Availability to work a part-time schedule (16 hours a week), Monday through Thursday, 4:00pm-8:00pmMaster's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, social work, or family therapy or related field.Active Professional Counselor license (LPC) or Provisional Counselor license (PLPC) through the state of Missouri or a Master Social Worker license (LMSW) with registered supervisor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred.Individuals with a Bachelor's degree may be considered. Individuals with a Bachelor's degree must be certified or registered as a Qualified Addictions Professional by the Missouri Credentialing Board. Appropriate certifications include CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP-D, RADC, and RADC-P as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board.Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health setting.Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite.
