The company has experienced tremendous growth, with a wide range of products and global distribution. Its products can be found in every single Apple store. As the company is ramping up for its next stage of growth, it is looking to hire an experienced VP of Supply Chain with a focus on operational excellence and strategy, who will drive initiatives to help propel the company's supply chain capabilities to new heights.

The Role:

As the VP of Supply Chain Management, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the driving force behind the end-to-end supply chain function. Your responsibilities will include managing external vendors, fostering operational excellence internally, and devising, expanding, and implementing diverse supply chain strategies. As a crucial member of the executive leadership team, you will guide the CEO and contribute significantly to the scalable growth of the business. You will lead cross-functional teams to continually enhance planning, sourcing, technology integration, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

  • Functional leadership: Overall leadership for the Supply chain function, including strategy development and implementation, operating plans and budgets, recruiting, value generation initiatives, etc.
  • Analytics & Data Management: Provide expert financial, quantitative, and analytical assessment of existing data; establish baseline and track operational KPIs for inventory optimization.
  • Reporting & Intelligence: Provide regular reporting to stakeholders regarding supply chain performance, including financial analysis to support cost reduction and other value creation initiatives.
  • Organization Development: Assess, recruit, and retain a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Direct to Consumer: Lead the transformation and advancement of their DTC business by implementing dynamic strategies that foster sustainable growth and secure competitive advantage.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing end-to-end supply chain strategies and driving operational excellence; proficiency in supply chain software/technology a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity or fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, strong business acumen, financial understanding, and ERP experience are also necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and in organization development, including recruiting, staffing, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Understanding of consumer trends and modern retail/eCommerce; previous larger design-forward brand experience strongly preferred; Consumer Marketing a Plus.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
