Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee the daily operations of our production facility. Additionally, this role will have a critical responsibility for planning and establishing a new production line for our upcoming product, ensuring its successful integration into our existing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in composites manufacturing, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Develop and implement production plans and schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively. Develop and manage production budgets, identify cost-savings, and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety. Monitor and analyze production performance and optimize processes to increase productivity and reduce waste. Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline production processes, and drive innovation to keep the company at the forefront of industry advancements. Prepare reports on production activities, performance metrics, and KPIs for senior management. Implement and maintain quality control processes, ensuring products meet company quality standards. Enforce company policy and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage and develop production teams, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and support to achieve production goals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and facilitate training and development opportunities for production staff. Manage supply chain and supplier relationships, oversee procurement of materials, and maintain inventory levels. Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, engineering, and sales to ensure equipment is maintained, production goals are aligned, and customer needs are met. RequirementsSkills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, techniques, and lean manufacturing principles. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and data analysis skills. Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing production teams. Proven experience in optimizing production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Extensive knowledge of quality standards and health & safety regulations. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage budgets and control costs within the production department. Extensive knowledge of composite materials, processes, and technologies preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies. 7+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably within the composites manufacturing industry.
