Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Specification Review : Review customer technical specifications and commercial terms to align with Weir's offerings.
- Commercial Terms and Conditions Review : Accurately select equipment based on RFQ package information, considering hydraulic requirements and material properties.
- Equipment Selection : Prepare and submit formal quotations in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proposal Preparation : Enter orders into the ERP system promptly and accurately, ensuring all pertinent details are included.
- Order Inquiry : Provide technical support to customers and internal sales personnel, troubleshoot issues, and assist with technical applications and proposals.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in applications engineering or technical sales of slurry pumps and valves preferred.
- Strong background in pump operations, with hands-on experience in the mining or chemical industry.
- Experience in Mining or Chemical environments is preferred.
