Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Specification Review : Review customer technical specifications and commercial terms to align with Weir's offerings.
  • Commercial Terms and Conditions Review : Accurately select equipment based on RFQ package information, considering hydraulic requirements and material properties.
  • Equipment Selection : Prepare and submit formal quotations in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Proposal Preparation : Enter orders into the ERP system promptly and accurately, ensuring all pertinent details are included.
  • Order Inquiry : Provide technical support to customers and internal sales personnel, troubleshoot issues, and assist with technical applications and proposals.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in applications engineering or technical sales of slurry pumps and valves preferred.
  • Strong background in pump operations, with hands-on experience in the mining or chemical industry.
  • Experience in Mining or Chemical environments is preferred.
