About the role

We are hiring for a Product Marketing expert to join our marketing team, this is our first hire to focus on product marketing. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing role will analyze the Ag market to understand what our customers and prospects need, what our competitors are doing and what our go-to-market strategy should be. You will work with our product team to understand our products to message and position them correctly. You will identify customer segments and create personas to help improve sales & marketing performance.

Your Responsibilities Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Smartwyre by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces Own go-to-market launch planning to ensure successful, integrated launches for new product features and company solutions to grow the business from awareness to adoption through engagement Develop messaging that fits the audience mindset/needs within that experience (e.g. website, in-product messaging, on-boarding, blog, emails, etc.) and maximizes the strengths of each channel or communication experience Partner with Product & Success teams on optimal pricing models and strategies for new products and bundled solutions Work with Product Management & Sales Leadership to establish a continuous feedback loop (encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors) to influence the product development roadmap and product messaging & pricing Collaborate with Sales to understand ongoing enablement needs; create and execute an enablement program across training, competitive counter-tactics, and product education Lead and develop product marketing initiatives including content creation for outbound marketing campaigns, website content, product videos, webinars, customer case studies, and more Serve as voice of the customer Co-own with Product a dashboard that measures success of product based on metrics from the product, as well as buyer sentiment >

Our Ideal Candidate

You will a strategic thinker and have an ability to dive into a product and become a champion and promote features, use cases, and value propositions to customers.

You will be someone who is customer-focused with enthusiasm & empathy for genuinely improving how businesses serve and engage peopleKnowledge and experience in customer buying behavior for software-as-a-service (SaaS) is a strong plus

Experience with translating business requirements to product requirements, with a focus on defining product MVPs, understanding of launching SaaS products

You will have strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics, you will also have exceptional communication & presentation skills.
