**JOB OVERVIEW**

Our Seasonal Garden Sales Associates play an integral role in our stores by assisting team and Department Lead in respected department. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, product placement & merchandising, attend to the needs of plant health, complete tasks direct by Department Lead, and take responsibility in respected department.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**

* Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs and stand majority of shift (4-8+ hours)

* Availability to work weekends and some holidays

* Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

* Enjoys working outside in different weather conditions; rain, snow, sun, wind etc.

* Must be open to learning and developing

* Ability to accept coaching and feedback to enhance personal/team performance and needs.

* Can work with a team and at times independently

* Strong customer service skills

* Holds communication to all levels as a priority

**JOB DUTIES**

* Assist customers within and outside of respected department by putting tasks aside, answering questions, finding product, suggesting product, finding solutions, partnering with other team members to assist with customers needs.

* Help Department Lead and team complete all tasks, keep department clean & organized, assist in plant care/health; watering, pruning, dead-heading etc.

* Able to understand personal, department and store goals and willing to actively work to meet set goals.

* Be creative with product placement & merchandising that follows OTooles Vision and provides a great shopping experience for customers.

* Able to learn where products are, be familiar with pricing and how to find it, eager to grow product knowledge.

* Communicate with Department Lead and Management on ideas, issues, product inventories, and needs.

* Remain flexible and calm in different situations and willing to help outside of respected department when needed.
