Intake Specialist 2nd Shift

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Legal Intake Call Center Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients seeking legal assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct initial intake interviews over the phone, gather essential information about their legal issue, and assess the viability of their case. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
This position has the working hours of Monday - Friday 2:30pm-11pm. The starting pay for this role is $17/hr.
Responsibilities:- Report for scheduled shift on time, with phone on ready to answer calls
- Respect clients dignity and confidentiality
- Maintain neat work area
- Data entry/ typing information into a computer and multiple data basis
- Attention to detail
- Process paperwork for new clients efficiently and in accordance with protocols
- Obtain pertinent information from new clients by asking them to complete interviews courteously and professionally
- Answer and screen inquiry calls and emails from prospective clients
- Collect data to help with admission
- Ensure that all intake forms are properly signed and filled out
- Communicate with other team members constructively in order to reduce conflict and enhance the resolution of issues
- Follow protocol set forth in department memos, both verbally and written
- Follow standard set forth by the Florida Bar Association
- 2+ years of previous customer service required, call center experience highly preferred
- Flexible availability as needed for weekends and holidays
- Ability to empathize with clients
- High volume, fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- This position is in a professional office setting.
