We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsThis position is based out of the Higginsville Medical Clinic. The Outpatient Clinic Patient Services Representative manages all pre-certifications and prior authorizations required by insurance carriers/payors for patient treatments and surgeries. May be required to collaborate with physicians regarding procedural codes and medical record documentation. Duties and responsibilities include assisting the OPC team with answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing paperwork/medical records for clinic visits, and scheduling referrals for continued tests and treatment.What qualifications you will need:High School Graduate or GED required2 years related experience in a medical office or registration area preferredDemonstrates communication skills, leadership ability, organizational and time managementLafayette Regional Health Center is a 25+ bed critical access hospital.
