Our full-time employees enjoy a robust benefits package which may include health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling, licensure/certification reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, and student loan assistance for eligible roles.Requirements:Entry-level pharmacy degree (e.g., B.Sc, Pharm.D) from a college of pharmacy required.One (1) or more years of experience in a hospital or health system preferred.Current Pharmacist licensure in Georgia required.About the Job:To actively coordinate, on a day-to-day basis, the provision of high quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients of EGRMC, in compliance with federal and state legal/regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards. This includes: involvement with multiple drug distribution functions (inclusive of computerized order entry and/or prospective review and verification of physicians' orders, IV admixture preparation, etc.); defined clinical/cognitive activities to optimize therapeutic outcomes as directed by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (which include active communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff about the need to clarify and/or change an order along with documentation of intervention outcomes); educational activities with pharmacist colleagues and other health care professionals (e.g., physicians, nurses, etc.) to maintain and advance clinical competency in drug therapy; and, "supervisory" functions which provide professional oversight and direction of technicians' drug preparation and distribution activities to assure safe and expedient provision of pharmaceutical care to EGRMC patients and staff.We know it's not just about finding a job.
