This full-time hourly role is a part of our Tool and Die Team and reports to the Tool Room Supervisor. This position will allow the candidate to grow within a stable environment that's building a better foundation for every vehicle on the road.

Shifts & Pay:
$34.02 per hour

1st shift - 7AM - 3:30PM

2nd shift - 3:30PM-12AM - $0.60/hr shift premium

3rd shift - 10:30PM - 7AM - $0.75/hr shift premium

Relocation is available for this role

Responsibilities:

  • Plan setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools, considering types of material, tolerances, types of cutting tools, coolants, lubricants and machine tool feeds and speeds
  • Weld repair and heat treatment of different materials including tool steels.
  • Determine specifications for inspection of work, using precision measuring and gaging tools, performing required inspection before, during and after machining
  • Perform hand operations involved in producing jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.
  • Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools and dies. Sets up, runs off and tests dies to produce a product to specifications, tracing die difficulties to their source and correcting same
  • Tear down, repairs and reassembles tooling on the bench or in the press as required


Required Experience:
  • Must have Journeyman Card OR 8 years of verifiable experience
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Metal stamping and manufacturing experience preferred
