We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to work onsite for an opportunity paying up to $105K base plus benefits, based on experience, which is located in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will bring robust industry knowledge with a focus on civil infrastructure projects, specifically with a background in managing the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges. This role demands a keen understanding of FDOT regulations and standards to ensure project compliance and excellence.

Requirements of the Project Engineer: •2+ years of civil engineering experience, specifically with FDOT projects •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field •PE license preferred, but not required •Proficiency in AutoCAD and civil engineering software •Experience with project management tools and methodologies •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •Familiarity with GIS and BIM software is a plus

Responsibilities of the Project Engineer: •Oversee the design, planning, and execution of bridge and road construction projects •Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all project specifications •Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for multiple civil projects •Conduct on-site inspections and project reviews to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards •Prepare reports and present project updates to stakeholders •Support contract negotiations and manage subcontractor activities •Support the team as needed
