- Contribute to the software development life cycle (SDLC) process which includes designing, building, testing, and deploying applications to production.
- Design distributed and concurrent systems using microservices, multithreading, asynchronous programming models, and event-driven programming environments.
- Develop applications built on .NET Framework, .NET Core, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Work with Kafka messaging, NoSQL, and SQL for optimized application performance.
- Manage application containers and deployment to the cloud.
- Troubleshoot, problem-solve complex financial software.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create new components, services, reports, and APIs.
- Solid command of developing solutions, under minimal supervision, with personal accountability, ownership, and a keen attention to detail.
- Full stack expertise - server side and UI - using web (e.g., Angular, React, Node, jQuery), and/or native (e.g., .NET, C# WinForms, Java, C++, iOS) technologies.
- Proficiency with creating SQL schema, stored procedures, triggers, views, functions, and advanced performance-tuning.
- Non-judgmental familiarity with operating systems (and command-line superpowers).
- Knowledge of microservice architectures and developing for and deploying to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, using Docker containers.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration using tools like GitHub and Jira/Confluence.
- A collaborative attitude, an ever-growing curiosity, and a desire to win.
