In addition, for 15 consecutive years, residents of Greater Toledo have named us the Consumer Choice Award winner in our market. In fact, we're the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive this honor.POSITION SUMMARYProvides pharmacy services, to include: inpatient drug distribution, IV admixture, drug information, pharmacokinetics, drug therapy monitoring, patient education, and controlled substance regulation. Responsible for providing direct supervision of supportive personnel within the Department of Pharmacy. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and staff satisfaction. Ensures decisions made are based on the Mission and Values of ProMedica.Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy License: Licensed within the state(s) of practicePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Pharm.D. degree and residency trainingSkills: Prefer experience in hospital pharmacy services including unit dose, IV admixtures, and pharmacokinetic dosing.Certification: BLS - Basic Life SupportWORKING CONDITIONSPersonal Protective Equipment: Physical Demands: Must be able to lift light materials. Non-material handling of continuous sitting and reaching; frequent standing; occasional squatting, kneeling, walking, and stairs.
