ATI is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our facility located in East Hartford, CT. The primary purpose of this job is to be responsible for developing and programming a part process. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be supporting new and existing product lines as well as reducing cost within a process.

**Essential Functions** (other duties may be assigned)

+ Develop a manufacturing process to create a part to the customer Blue Print, Model and specifications.

+ To be able to work with the engineering, quality and manufacturing team during the new product introduction process.

+ To be able to create work instruction, including the master engineering process, operation sheets and setup sheets.

+ Responsible for the design of the fixtures / jaws and or all part holding devises.

+ Tool procurement including tool review, source selection, concept drawing

+ To be able to program in N/X or Master Cam

+ Provide support in root cause analysis and process corrective action

+ Participate and support in continuous improvement activities

+ Provide input and assistance in the quoting process, tooling budget and planning

+ Ability to work on machine controls, i.e. edit programs, offsets, and macros

+ Implement software for program review i.e., vericut, compare

**Basic Requirements**

+ B.S. in manufacturing engineering or 5 years of work experience processing aerospace parts

+ 5+ years of experience in an engineering role within a machining environment

**Essential Skills**

+ Skilled in turning, milling, inspection, cutting tools, and their materials

+ Skilled in fixture and tool procurement, general setup and part qualification practices
