Job Description The Cashier is responsible for providing customer service, run register, answer phones and do patient home deliveries.

* Greet customers and offer courteous assistance

* Ensure accurate and efficient sales transactions with a good working knowledge of methods of payment and their substitutes for cash

* Maintain a working knowledge of product liens and familiarity with the use and application of merchandise

* Performs other duties as required

Job Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Must have retail experience

* Requires the ability to make change and keep records accurately, usually acquired through previous experience as a cashier

* Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations

* Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills

* Must be able to operate a cash register and calculators

* Must be able to occasionally move, lift or carry medium weight materials
