Patient Support Specialist

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operational flow within the community health clinic. The clinic, an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) provides primary healthcare, dental and mental health services to those living in Public Housing communities and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Responsibilities:
•Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy.
•Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an organized appointment calendar.
•Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and other confidential documentation.
•Facilitate patient check-in and check-out process efficiently.
•Provide accurate information to patients regarding services, policies and procedures.
•Collaborate with medical/dental staff to coordinate patient care and address inquiries.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
