Job Purpose & Responsibilities:

The Logistics Team Leader will provide direct day to day leadership for a team of Logistics Associates and is responsible for the successful daily execution of receiving, stocking, picking, configuring, and shipping of Elos products. He or she will operate with a high degree of safety, responsiveness, and accuracy to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Logistics Team Leader will drive improvements within Elos operations and train others to do the same.

* Oversee and provide leadership and direction for a team of Logistics Associates

* With input from the Logistics Manager, establish and deploy operational objectives for the team of associates

* Develop, deploy, and maintain operational training guidelines for the receiving, storage, and shipping Elos products

* Train all new incoming associates on proper material handling, shipping, and inventory practices

* Provide clear, consistent, and effective communication and instruction to achieve operational objectives

* Create and implement a continuous improvement roadmap for the operation including but not limited to process improvements, storage, and inventory handling methods

* Conduct routine performance assessments and coaching sessions with team of associates

* Thorough understanding of operational KPIs and metrics with knowledge of how to implement, measure, and improve them

* Operational escalation point of contact for receiving, storage, and shipping related discrepancies

* Operational escalation point of contact for inventory related discrepancies or damages

* Conduct or participate in weekly inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory availability accuracy

* Perform high level OS (Operating System) loads across various product lines

* Maintain compliant work environment by following all ISO, EH&S, 5S, OSHA and/or other standards/codes as they apply

* Other duties and tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree in Logistics or related field from an accredited institution

* At least 5 years of logistics experience

* 2 years of supervisory experience

* 4 years of SAP experience within a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous logistics leadership experience

* Certified and licensed to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other material handling equipment

* Familiarity with 5S and LEAN/Continuous Improvement methodologies

* Proficiency with ERP systems and various technologies including Microsoft Office

Specific Professional Skills/Competencies:

* Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills

* Proficient with systems, tools, and technologies

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

* Ability to lead and work in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to work cross functionally with a variety of teams and associates of various levels

Physical Demands:

* Ability to lift up to OSHA single person lift requirements

* Ability to sit, stand, bend or walk for prolonged periods of time
