Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Director of FP&A. Our client is looking for someone with 10+ years of finance experience, manufacturing industry experience, and strong analytical and financial modeling skills. This company offers growth opportunities, a "feel good" culture and hybrid work environment.

The salary for this position is $160-170k + bonus.

The Director of FP&A will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and monitor market price risk, and help develop a high performing financial planning & analysis team.
  • Lead efforts to validate and optimize by-product / ingredient costs and margins, support mass balance efforts to optimize supply.
  • Develop internal financial expertise to lead decision support.
  • Provide financial validation and oversight on risk management strategies, coverage levels and overall positions to balance risk and optimize financial impact.
  • Collaborate with team to support and implement strategic decisions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance talent across the organization.
  • Develop proactive financial contingency plans.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Director of FP&A will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 10+ years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to present fact-based recommendations across various levels of management.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
