Job Title - Python/Pyspark Developer

Location - Baltimore, MD

Type - Contract

Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Python Lead to join our team in Malvern, PA. As a Python Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of complex Python projects, and leveraging AWS, SRE, and DevOps practices to build scalable and reliable applications.
    Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python applications using industry best practices and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) to build and manage cloud-based applications.
  • Implement SRE and DevOps practices to ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Python applications and AWS infrastructure.
  • Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Python developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of SRE and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
