Position Overview of the Bookkeeper:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently to support our organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.

• Support the preparation of annual tax filings and audits.

• Maintain organized financial records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
