Key Responsibilities: Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner. Review and verify billing data for accuracy and completeness. Follow up on outstanding or rejected claims and address any discrepancies. Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues. Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing matters. Maintain updated records of invoices, payments, and adjustments. Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify delinquencies or discrepancies. Assist in month-end closing procedures related to billing. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role. Proficiency in billing software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of healthcare billing practices (preferred but not required). Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in billing or accounts receivable (preferred).
