We bring both technological excellence and keen attention to our client's needs to meet and exceed expectations for projects of any size.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Sr. Water/Wastewater Engineer with 15 or more years of experience to design and/or oversee projects involving provision of potable water, disposal of wastewater and sewage, or prevention of flood-related damage. The ideal candidate for this opportunity has experience preparing planning level documents and preliminary and final design documents, managing a team of professionals, and overseeing field work. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who has solid communication and interpersonal skills, is team-orientated, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business.
Responsibilities:
Design of projects including development of work plans and schedules
Write, review and critique proposals, plans, designs, or fee estimates related to water or wastewater treatment systems
Provide technical direction or supervision to engineering professionals, engineering, or computer-aided design (CAD) technicians, or other professional and technical personnel
Assist in the management of projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clients
Perform studies, calculations, designs and preparation of plans and reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards
Conduct feasibility studies for the construction of facilities, such as water supply systems, runoff collection networks, water and wastewater treatment plants, or wastewater collection systems
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for the construction of water supply systems, runoff collection networks, water and wastewater treatment plants, or wastewater collection systems
Design water storage tanks or other water storage facilities.
Evaluate the operation and maintenance of water or wastewater systems to identify ways to improve their efficiency
Market company services and develop work
Additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
California Professional Engineering License (PE) required
Minimum 15 years of practical work experience
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
Solid experience with the MS Office Suite
We offer a competitive benefits package that includes company paid medical, dental and vision insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan. The salary range for this position is
$175,000
to
