The Registration Receptionist obtains pre-registration information on each patient and accurately enters the information into the system prior to the date of surgery.On the date of surgery he/she receives each patient and family members in the lobby, escorts them to the peri-anesthesia area and confirms accurate and complete demographic and insurance information and obtains the required consents. Performs other clerical responsibilities of the Unit and other duties as assigned.
