Overview:

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst Treasury. This newly created position will provide monthly and annual internal planning, budgeting, financial analysis & reporting support in a rapidly growing company located in Burlington, MA. This role will also support treasury functions such as tax filings, registrations, and compliance reporting. The successful candidate must have experience, and an in-depth understanding of these functions in the government contracting industry.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

  • EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Must have 5 - 10 years of financial analysis experience. Must have prior government contracting and accounting experience.
  • Must have prior experience with ERP systems, strong preference for experience with Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense.
  • EDUCATION: BA/BS in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong written, presentation and verbal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, accommodate numerous stakeholders, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Extraordinary organization and communication skills are required.
  • Detail oriented and professional in dealings with external and internal customers.
  • Proficient in use of PC and software applications including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Independent and self-motivated with a positive can do attitude.
  • Asks the question Why

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assist in Treasury functions:
    • 13-week cashflow forecasting
    • Setting up and reconciling Bank transactions
    • Daily cash reporting
  • Ensuring accurate booking of indirect costs
  • Maintain, Monitor, and forecast Indirect rates
  • Provide support for DCAA and Internal Audits and Incurred cost submissions.
  • Responsible for all Government financial reporting.
  • Responsible for Business and Tax reporting and coordination of payments pertaining to multiple states and local municipalities.
  • Provide financial analysis and develop relevant models as requested to ensure compliance with corporate initiatives and goals.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team members and internal customers to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiencies in Finance.
