Job Description

•The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, and supervising staff.

Essential Job Functions

•Achieve warehouse operational objectives through the contribution of warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
•Meet warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
•Develop warehouse operation's systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, and creates processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
•Continuous development, implementation, enforcement, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
•Create warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
•Establish warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout, and implementing changes.
•Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
•Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
•Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
•Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
•Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
•Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
•Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
•Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives
•Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements
•Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement
•Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
•Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
•Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Other responsibilities include but are not limited to resolving problems, completing audits, and identifying trends

Education, Experience & Skills

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/ university required.
•Or Associates Degree and one to four (1-4) years part management related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
•Must have good computer skills.
•Knowledge of Excel, Word, a plus.

Physical Requirements

•Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone.

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
