Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee all aspects of production within the factory.
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment and analysis of current production methods to identify areas for improvement.
  • Using analysis results, work with production and engineering teams to develop innovative production improvements aimed at optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Maximize the productivity of machinery and workers to achieve production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with product specifications and enforce quality control measures.
  • Determine the selection and placement of machines, tools, equipment, etc., within the facility for optimal workflow.
  • Assess and report workforce requirements to leadership; create training plans to optimize people and processes
  • Continuously strive to increase speed and efficiency without compromising product quality or safety.
  • Design and implement effective quality control measures to monitor products and ensure desired outcomes.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot any breakdowns or production issues, including identifying human errors.
  • Develop safety protocols and educate employees on proper machinery operation techniques.
  • Collaborate with the hiring of technicians to maintain equipment for maximum safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure projects are executed within set budgetary plans and schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; master's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in production/industrial engineering, with managerial experience being a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to direct and motivate cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and highly efficient in managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Capability to maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients.
