Guides engineering personnel who are responsible for the review and conversion of engineering design drawings into detailed piece part drawings for manufacturability and bills of materials. Continuously look for ways to control costs by eliminating unnecessary costs and maximize efficiency. Effectively utilize available technology to enhance productivity. Fully support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, procedures and the GK SCOPE Program. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum of ten (10) years of work related experience. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor. Working knowledge of steel plate, structural fabrication, and shop practices. Knowledge of Microsoft office products. The ability to anticipate customer needs and identify business problems and evaluate current business environment. The knowledge to access appropriate resources to accomplish tasks and the ability to apply policies, procedures and regulations when necessary. The ability to identify the impact of trends and patterns, on the organization. Evaluate the cause and effect of relationships and events and anticipate potential threats and/or opportunities. Anticipate and resolve team breakdowns resulting from change. Identify and remedy barriers to change, and proactively promote the benefits of change. The ability to promote a healthy climate in which people can grow and develop. The ability to set goals that reflect the organizations priorities and always measuring the impact of decisions on the bottom-line. The ability to employ confidence and trust of others in personal character and job competence. The ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
