As a Patient Registration Representative, you will be the welcoming face and primary point of contact for our patients, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to registration. Key responsibilities include:Accurately entering patient demographics and insurance details into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Registering walk in and telemedicine patientsGreeting patients warmly, providing assistance, and answering any preliminary questionsVerifying insurance eligibility and collecting co-pays or balances due at the time of registrationReconciling payments at the end of each shift and addressing any accounts past dueManaging incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately, and offering helpful information as neededInterpreting and explaining billing statements clearly to patientsPosting incoming Accounts Receivable payments accuratelySupporting daily operational tasks, including opening and closing the building and organizing the workspace.Faxing or emailing lab results to designated parties in a timely mannerRequesting credit card pre-authorizations and setting up installment payment plans as necessaryPromoting a positive, respectful environment with both patients and peersEnsuring a clean, organized work environment, including tidying up the staff lounge and work area at the end of each shiftReporting any patient complaints promptly to the office manager Qualifications and Skills:Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plusExcellent phone and in-person communication skillsOutstanding customer service and interpersonal abilitiesMust be able to work full shiftsWorking knowledge of HIPPA LawsEducation & Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredOne year of experience in patient registration or health insurance is preferredHours of Operation:Monday-Thursday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PMFriday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PMSaturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PMBenefits (Full-Time Employees)MedicalDentalVisionShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityLife InsuranceAccident/DisabilityAD & DCritical IllnessHospital IndemnityLegal ResourcesJoin our dedicated team and be part of a welcoming environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care
