Job Overview:Shriners Childrens Chicago has an opportunity for a PRN Social Worker. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.
Responsibilities:- The Social Worker is responsible for providing assessments, planning, interventions and follow-up for patients and family members at Shriners Children's across the continuum of care.
- Through this function, by joining the team, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact on our patient's experience.
- You'll help to provide continuity of care for positive outcomes in our family centered environment.
- In a PRN capacity, you will provide coverage for vacations, other time off as well during busy times. Partial benefits of major medical are available.
This is not an all-inclusive list of this jobs responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:Required:
- Masters in Social Work
- Social Work license in state of practice
- Current Case Management Certification is required; or obtained within 12 months of hire or within 12 months of eligibility.
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Preferred:
- 3 years social work experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
