The Sheraton Bucks County Hotel is a premier destination committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. As an On-Call Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable events for our guests, from weddings and conferences to special celebrations.

Responsibilities:

1. Event Setup: Assist in the setup of banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring tables, chairs, linens, and decorations are arranged appropriately.

2. Service Excellence: Provide professional and attentive service during events, including serving plated meals, buffets, and beverages. Ensure all guests' needs are met promptly and courteously.

3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other banquet servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure seamless event execution. Communicate effectively to ensure everyone is on the same page.

4. Beverage Service: Assist in the setup and service of beverages, including pouring and serving wine, water, and other beverages as required.

5. Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, responding promptly to their requests and ensuring a positive experience.

6. Clean-Up: Participate in post-event clean-up activities, including clearing tables, breaking down equipment, and returning the event space to its original condition.

7. Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to the unique needs of each event, ensuring a high level of service regardless of the occasion.

Requirements:

1. Professionalism: Maintain a polished and professional appearance, adhering to the uniform and grooming standards set by [Hotel Name].

2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.

3. Guest-Focused: Demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding service and creating positive guest experiences.

4. Experience: Previous experience in banquet service or a similar role is preferred but not required.

5. Flexibility: Ability to work on-call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the demands of our event schedule.

6. Physical: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

RAMP certification is a plus.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
