Job Summary

Under the direction of a Principal, assist in providing educational and administrative leadership to the professional staff and students at designated County school site(s); assist in planning and supervising the work performed by teachers, professionals and others at the school site(s); assist in communicating with other schools, outside agencies, parents, students, and the public; assist in providing responsible and professional staff assistance and management in the education program; assist in educational and administrative leadership; assist in leading and reviewing IEP's; assist with overseeing and evaluating paraeducators; assist in processing referrals from other districts, and help provide support for the overall program.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: Master's degree with course work in education, special education, or administration, and five years teaching experience or its equivalent, including some experience working with at-risk or special education students.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Administrative Credential and applicable Teaching Credential or its equivalent, including some experience working with at-risk or special education students.
