We are seeking a Manager for Central Sterile Processing. As our Manager of Sterile Processing, you will supervise decontamination and sterilization procedures and assist in keeping the department running smoothly. What you will do in this role:Plan, direct and coordinate activities involved in the acquisition, decontamination, storage, assembly, cleaning and sterilization of medical, surgical and related supplies, materials and equipment utilized in the care and treatment of patients and the operation of Hospital Sterile Processing DepartmentAssess the instrument and equipment needs for the surgical services ensuring availability and delivery to the operating roomsPossess appropriate knowledge, education, and technical skills necessary to maintain standards for delivery of quality patient careReceive and process instruments, equipment and supplies necessary for surgical proceduresWill be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance standards for department What qualifications you will need:Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateOviedo Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital.
