Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of sheet metal fabrication equipment including shears, brake presses, punch presses, and rollers.
  • Set up and operate machine tools to cut, bend, and shape metal to specifications.
  • Assemble fabricated metal parts using tools such as welders, riveters, and fasteners.
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Efficiently produce parts that meet and exceed quality standards.
  • Perform set ups and operation of the following machinery properly and safely.
  • Trouble-shoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
  • High School Degree or GED equivalent is required.
  • Sheet metal fabrication experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills.
  • Forklift and overhead crane training and certification are preferred.
