Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager (Construction) to join our team. This is a full-time, night shift role (10 PM - 6 AM) requiring a strong background in federal construction projects. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify that construction activities meet project specifications and quality standards.
Identify and resolve any quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on quality expectations and standards.
Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality control processes and best practices.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control procedures, making improvements as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Quality Control Management in all aspects of construction projects, with a focus on federal construction.
Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quality control and project management.
